There are three distinct engines for the Chevy Tahoe. The 5.3-liter engine has dynamic fuel management, is a V8, and pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine also has 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. There is also a 6.2-liter engine with 420 horsepower, 460 pound-feet of torque, and dynamic fuel management. The turbo-diesel engine is 3.0-liters, has 277 horsepower, and 460 pound-feet of torque.

Design/Interior

Some of the design features for the Chevy Tahoe are the great legroom in the second and third-row seats. Also, there's plenty of flexible cargo space, so you can easily get additional luggage into the Chevy Tahoe when needed.

Technology and Safety Features

Technology

The Chevy Tahoe has popular new technology features such as a head-up display. This display is 15-inches and in front of you on the windshield. The head-up display can project information such as safety alerts, incoming calls, and even turn-by-turn directions. Forward collision alert and automatic emergency braking are great when you travel below 50 mph, and it is indeed a Time. The Chevy Tahoe also has front pedestrian braking, which is great when you drive in a crowded city.

Trim Levels

There are six trim levels for the new 2023 Chevy Tahoe SUV

  • The LS has 18-inch wheels, a 10-speed automatic transmission, and exceptional suspension. The LS trim level also has a roof rack luggage carrier.
  • The LT has a review on a dimming mirror as well as a hands-free programmable liftgate. There is also the Bose nine-speaker audio system, and you can access wireless charging in the LT trim level.
  • The RST trim level has a black interior with red stitching. There is also RST badging for the Tahoe. The RST has 22-inch wheels and a monochromatic black grille.
  • The Z71 has red tow hooks and a skid plate. This Tahoe also has 20-inch wheels and assist steps. The available four-corner adaptive suspension is great if you travel a lot with the Z71.
  • The Premier has a Bose sound system with 10 speakers. Also, there are safety features for the Premier trim level, like lane change alert with side blind zone alert and rear cross-traffic alert. There is also magnetic ride control with the Premier trim level.
  • The High Country trim level for the Chevy Tahoe has unique design features only available on this trim level. Also, the high country has 22-inch wheels and all-season tires. The wheels also have locks. The Tahoe High Country is a premium model that is great for driving long hours because of its relaxing and comfortable interior.
