Performance

There is one engine and powertrain system for the Chevy Equinox. The Equinox uses a 1.5L turbo engine with four cylinders. The engine is capable of 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The engine’s transmission is a six-speed automatic. Although front-wheel drive is standard, you can get all-wheel drive.

Regardless of the trim, the Equinox has a top towing capacity of 1,500 pounds.
