Avoiding the gas pumps has never looked better. Chevrolet is moving into a new generation of adventure with the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV. This is Chevy's first-ever all-electric Blazer, and it is set to raise the bar for EV SUVs. It surely won't be Chevy's final EV entry as it works to get more models available to drivers.

What we Know about the Chevy Blazer EV

We're still waiting to hear what the Blazer EV will be packing regarding its powertrain system. Chevy has released four trim levels; 1LT, 2LT, RS, and SS. The SS trim is the chart-topper, and we know it will produce 557 horsepower and be equipped with standard all-wheel drive. Chevy says it should get from zero-to-60 in less than four seconds. We also know the RS could give you a choice between rear-, front-, or all-wheel drive.

The Chevy Blazer EV looks to take you even farther between recharging episodes. Chevy boasts that the RS model will take you an estimated 320 miles on a single charge. The base trim, 1LT, gets an estimated 247 miles of driving range, while the 2LT and SS get you more than 290 miles.

Don't expect your typical Tahoe interior once you climb inside. Early peeks indicate that the cabin has a sportier appearance and a more aggressive style on the outside. The RS and SS show off a bold black-and-red scheme.

There will be ample soft-touch surfaces and beautiful materials decorating the cabin. You should still get a spacious interior with plenty of legroom for your taller passengers. Some of the highlights of the cabin include a 17.7-inch customizable infotainment touchscreen, available Super Cruise hands-free driving technology, LED exterior lighting, and Advanced Park Assist.

It isn't every day that drivers can experience the thrill of a sports car in the body of a large SUV. But that is what the Blazer EV is promising drivers. Details continue to roll in. If you want to learn more, contact our associates at Countryside Chevrolet, and we'll let you know what we know.
